The challenge is structured as a six-week sprint, during which participating organisations will work closely together to develop innovative solutions. At the conclusion of the sprint, teams will present their outcomes, showcasing their advancements in cyber security monitoring and risk mitigation. Microsoft is supporting the initiative by offering programme guidance, solution expertise, and Microsoft Azure credits to host data and facilitate collaboration.

Access to Cutting-Edge Platforms
Participants will also leverage the Digital Sandbox platform, which accelerates technology development and ensures that solutions are market-ready. The platform provides a secure environment for testing and refining innovations, enabling teams to rapidly prototype and validate their ideas. Tech companies involved in the challenge will gain valuable insights into market needs while working alongside financial institutions to better understand real-world cyber security challenges.

Industry and Government Participation
A diverse group of participants is taking part in the initiative, including major financial services firms such as Moody’s, Hiscox, and Nationwide. Industry partners like the City of London Police, UK Finance, Department for International Trade, and London & Partners are also contributing expertise and guidance.
